  The golf set felt very good and certainly had some pop to it. The head looks massive and has a more low-profile look that I expected. Actually, it looks more like a Callaway designed crown, but I do prefer the lighter color to the former G15 look. The Tour Shaft did make a difference and added a more penetrating ball flight to my swing. Easy to hit, and can get the ball in the air, probably perfect for a 10-20 handicapper.

When compared head-to-head against the G15, the G20 produced a 0.75 degree increase in launch angle, with 200 RPM less spin, and 1MPH increased ball speed off center hits. Not a huge difference if you ask this golfer, but who knows - the tour guys are already playing this driver, after its release at the Fedex St. Jude Classic...

I bought this a few weeks ago to upgrade from my G15. I had a Rapture and G10 prior so yes I am a Ping fan. I had stiff shafts and changed the getting older to a regular Tour shaft for my new G20. I hated the club at first as the feel was VERY different to my G15. A few weeks later and a few practice shots forward I will not have any other Driver in my bag right now! It hits the ball so STRAIGHT - and without any effort!! My Golflogix phone software shows my average drive with this new machine at just over 5 yards LONGER than my G15 - 298yds average. What a club! Give it time and it will give you straight and long shots guaranteed!
